A Testimony to Truth and Life
I was raised in Catholicism. Eventually it did not anchor me, and in my teenage years I greatly strayed from the straight path. At nineteen I was quite lost and miserable, and so I began to pray often. That year an acquaintance invited me to visit her in Santa Cruz and I went to my first meeting of the local church in Santa Cruz. That was twenty-seven years ago. The level of life in these dear believers was noticeably high. They showed the signs of truly consecrated lovers of Christ - love, oneness, given to hospitality, calling on the Lord's name, etc. (1 John 4:19; John 17:21; Romans 12:13; 1 Corinthians 1:2). In particular, the knowledge of the Bible that they imparted to me changed my life. God's eternal plan, His heart's desire and His purpose spoken of in the Bible became clear to me through the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee.
Now at 47 years old I am a homemaker with six children. My husband serves the Lord full time. The Lord's blessing of life has reached our whole family. But most of all, the Lord is nearer and dearer to me every day in the local church. Surely the truth in the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee is the key factor, and I thank the Lord for speaking through these Christian brothers.
